Frank graduated from Memorial University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Biology and from Dalhousie University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. In 2018, he completed a Masters in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University specializing in orthopedic and manipulative physiotherapy (OMPT) and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (CAMPT). In 2022, Frank completed his certification in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) dry needling.
He initially worked for the Central Regional Integrated Health Authority as a general staff physiotherapist at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL. Frank has also worked as a physiotherapy consultant with WorkplaceNL from 2000 to 2021.
In 2008, he opened Lifestyle Physiotherapy to concentrate on the treatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. His interests include manual therapy, correction of muscle imbalance, stability and postural training, as well as strengthening and conditioning.
He is an avid volunteer with the regional health foundation where he served as a board member for 12 years and has been involved with the Gander Minor Hockey Association as a coach and executive member for the last 10 years.
