Linda Hardiman

RegPT, DipPT, BSc (PT)

Linda has been a practicing physiotherapist since 1973 (over 40 years!). She graduated first with a Diploma in Physiotherapy, and then a Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy both from Dalhousie University. She worked at St. Claire’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, NL, and then at Camp Hill Hospital in Halifax, NS. Linda returned to Newfoundland to set up a physiotherapy service at the Green Bay Health Care Center. She then moved to Gander, NL where she opened her business,Gander Physiotherapy Clinic, which she owned and operated for 17 years. Linda now practices at Lifestyle Physiotherapy. She has participated on boards and executives of both the provincial branch of Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the provincial regulatory body the NL College of Physiotherapists. Linda has a special interest in manual therapy (Cyriax trained), as well as acupuncture (with the acupuncture Foundation of Canada), and is a member of the Acupuncture Division of CPA. Linda also currently rates journal articles for the McMaster Online Rating of Evidence (MORE) System (Health Information Research Unit of McMaster University).
